Creative Current

Creative Current is a 14 week virtual support group built around one honest premise: making art messes with your head in ways that are hard to talk about outside a room full of other artists. This isn't a critique group or a networking circle. It's a place to sit with the half-finished sketchbook, the abandoned draft, the thing you made that nobody saw, and talk about what that actually does to you. Group members span every medium and every level, painters next to writers next to people who've never called themselves an artist out loud until now. What connects them isn't the work itself, it's the terrain: the gap between what you meant to make and what came out, the voice that says your art doesn't count unless someone's paying for it, the strange grief of finishing something and feeling nothing.

Participants can expect to:

• Trace where your creative block actually comes from, not just push through it

• Practice calling your work "real" without a market to prove it

• Pull from Artist's Way and Creative Act exercises when the group wants structure

• Sit with a finished piece, a failed one, or nothing at all and still have something to bring

• Hear how differently the same block shows up across mediums
