After the Code is a therapist-led support group for nurses experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and emotional exhaustion. Led by a Registered Nurse turned therapist with inpatient and outpatient experience, this group provides a safe, confidential space to process the emotional weight of nursing with others who understand healthcare culture.
This group is for new and experienced nurses working in ER, ICU, med-surg, hospice, or outpatient settings who may feel burned out, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or guilty about rest and boundaries. Many participants are high-functioning on the outside while quietly carrying grief, loss, and experiences they can’t unsee.
Participants can expect to:
Process grief, loss, and emotionally demanding experiences
Reduce burnout and emotional overload
Learn practical coping, regulation, and boundary-setting tools
Feel less alone and more grounded with a community that understands
You’ll leave with emotional relief, clearer language for what you’re experiencing, and tools you can use both on and off shift.
