Adrianne Alfonso
LMHC, EMDR
fun fact: I treat my car like it’s Madison Square Garden. If you catch someone performing their heart out at a red light, it might be me.
Reaching out for mental health support can feel challenging, and finding the right therapist isn’t always easy. I strive to create a supportive, affirming space where you feel seen and understood. If you’re trying to love yourself but feel guilty or unsure where to begin, you’re not alone. I support clients navigating anxiety, relationship dynamics, life transitions, and ways to improve quality of life while honoring cultural and/or spiritual values.
My work also involves individuals experiencing acculturation issues, strained familial relationships, relationship issues, or identity issues. Additionally, if you are a current/former athlete, I am here for you, too! I treat situations such as your journey/struggles as an athlete, whether it is an injury or loss of identity during or post-competing.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), working virtually with individuals aged 18+. I work with life transitions and adjustment, acculturation, and athletic stressors. I am here to provide a safe and comfortable place for you to be your real, authentic self, to share a great laugh, cry, or any other emotions, free of judgment.
