fun fact: Turns out, emotional maturity at twelve is both a blessing and a career path
I became the “therapist friend” long before I knew what therapy really was. Growing up, I learned early how complex people can be—especially the ones we love most. Watching my parents navigate life shaped by their upbringing in Bangladesh, I started asking questions most middle schoolers didn’t: Why do people act this way? How do culture, identity, and pain shape the way we love?
What began as confusion became compassion. I realized their behavior wasn’t about lack of love—it was about survival and generational patterns. In my work, I integrate CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, mindfulness, and culturally sensitive approaches to meet each client where they are.
I support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, spirituality, relationship issues, and life transitions. My style is warm, direct, and human—I believe in humor, honesty, and depth. Not every session feels light, and that’s okay; clarity and healing often begin in the heavy moments.
