Michelle Mota Paulino
LMHC
I primarily work with young adults/adults seeking support as they work through anxiety, depression, life transitions (such as finding your place in the world after graduation, working through a tough breakup, or adjusting to life with grief), stress and low self-esteem. I welcome individuals new to therapy as well.
Drawing on mindfulness, strengths-focus, and cognitive therapies, I follow an integrative approach to help clients improve their mind-body connection and gain a better understanding of their thought patterns. My goal is for us to build toolbox of coping skills for you to live a life that works for you.
The most healing aspect of therapy is the unique relationship between a client and therapist. As a result, I’m passionate about fostering a safe and supportive environment for my clients. Through sessions grounded in trust and open communication, together we can build a deeper understanding of yourself by exploring your thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
