fun fact: My go-to way to decompress is taking a long walk from Central Park all the way to the bottom of Manhattan while calling my friends.
As a New York–based therapist, first-generation Chinese American, and someone committed to building trust, I bring a warm, curious, and candid presence to therapy. My approach is person-centered, culturally sensitive, and grounded in compassion - I welcome clients of all backgrounds with openness and care. I’ve worked closely with college-aged students navigating academics, identity, and relationships, as well as teens and adults facing anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. I’m looking forward to getting to know you, hearing your story, and starting this process together.
I draw on my experiences and evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic therapy to tailor sessions to your needs. We’ll figure out what feels right for you and shape our sessions around your needs, whether that means building resilience, finding new ways to reflect, or practicing self-compassion.
Taking the step to seek therapy can be scary, but you don’t have to navigate challenges alone. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll move at your pace and create space for reflection, growth, and self-compassion while gaining confidence to navigate life's challenges!
